Members enjoy our first away day of 2025 season - Dundonald Links. Could not have asked for better weather so early in the season. Congratulations to Lynne Duggan winner of Stableford competition, Roberta Williams runner up and Stef Gillespie winner of 2's.

Our ladies enjoyed a lovely bowl of soup and sandwiches after playing a 9 hole tri-am on what can only be described as a very mild winter's day.

The Ladies Section held their Annual Prize giving Dinner on Friday 6th December in Ravenspark Clubhouse. After a sumptuous meal, Lady Captain Fiona Robb presented Trophies and prizes to this year's lucky winners.

Fiona Robb’s Lady Captain’s Day 2024 – Congratulations to Margaret Robb, Nicola Donaldson and Christine Moffat winners of Lady Captain’s Day competition. A Texas Scramble was the format of play and due to the camaraderie and fun made this a most enjoyable event. After the competition, the ladies enjoyed a delicious bowl of soup and sandwiches in the Club House. A big thank you to Dee Kippen who made and donated an adorable teddy bear as a raffle prize and sold some beautiful handmade Christmas lanterns raising £291 for Ayrshire Hospice. Congratulations to Stef Gillespie Club Champion 2024 winner. The saying ‘third time lucky’ comes to mind as this is the third consecutive year that Stef has reached the Championship final. Stef played against our Lady Captain Fiona Robb, a very formidable player who has won the Club Championship 28 times since 1993! In the past 30 years, Fiona has only lost the title to Mary Wylie in 2014 and to I Nicol in 2002. A big thank you goes to the player’s caddies: Dee Kippen (Robb) and Izzy Hughes (Gillespie) and Greta Smith our very own match official.

Kidsneuk Ladies Golf Club host their own Solheim Cup at Ravenspark Golf Club. Teams representing Europe and the USA battled it out in this team match-play competition. Motivational speeches from Team Captains and a live leaderboard served to inspire teams. USA winners of last year’s Solheim Cup retained the Cup in 2024.

Kidsneuk Ladies Golf Club take 1st and 2nd place at Turnberry Ladies Open Team event played on the King Robert the Bruce Championship Course on 13th September 2024 – Congratulations to all our winners.

Arran Trophy 2024 was played this year at Bellisle Golf Course. Winner of the Trophy was Merle King with 34 Stableford points– well done and congratulations Merle. It was such a pity that the weather was not kind to us, but in the good spirit of Kidsneuk ladies we enjoyed the company, the course and the good food served in the Clubhouse. Agnes Murdoch Memorial Trophy 2024 was played this year at Seafield Golf Course. Winner of the Trophy was Mary Wylie with 40 Stableford points – well done and congratulations Mary. We all had a lovely day in good company, lovely weather and good food served in the Clubhouse. A very fitting Memorial Day for our Lady Captain’s Mum.

10 Countries represented - Representatives from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Italy, Spain & Great Britain took part in 2 ball foursomes at Ravenspark Golf Club. Scores from putting competition and quiz were added to golf scores to determine Gold, Silver and Bronze medal winners. The results: China - Gold Medal, Brazil - Silver Medal, Germany - Bronze Medal. A medal was also presented to Great Britain as the winners of the best outfit with Egypt and Germany being runners up.  Thanks to Alba Catering for providing a lovely afternoon tea/coffee and delicious home-made scones.
